The Wine Visitors Centre and Bar consists of the renovation of an old warehouse, standing on the ageing room of a renown winery, established in a Castle of the XVIIIth century, to serve as a Visitors Centre while it has to accommodate the Wine Bar for the visitors to taste and/or purchase their wines. The proposal introduces a couple of patios to bring natural light into the bar and sales areas, whereas darkness is preserved in those spaces for exhibition purposes, being worked with a very technical lightning system. The visit to the winery starts from the ground floor, with a brief audiovisual piece and some photographic documents to set a historical context, and ends at the basement, where barrels are stacked and it connects with a semi-outdoor bar for wine tasting and sales.
